J & L Industrial Services is a provider of standard to specialty industrial services, including mechanical repair and remediation required in maintaining high temperature and high-pressure piping systems and vessels that are utilized extensively in the refining, pulp and paper petrochemical, power, pipeline and other heavy industries. We believe that J & L Industrial Services is uniquely qualified to provide integrated solutions involving in their most basic form: inspection to assess condition to determine fitness for purpose in the context of industry standards and regulatory codes and mechanical services to repair, rerate or replace based upon the client’s election.
J & L’s Industrial Maintenance service offerings are: Leak Repair Services, Pipe Welding, Millwrights, Civil work along with specialty including Machining.
Our leak repair services consist of repairs of leaks in pipes, valves, flanges and other parts of piping systems, pipelines and related equipment. Our on-stream repairs utilize composite repair. Many of our repairs are furnished as interim measures which allow plant systems to continue operating until more permanent repairs can be made during plant shutdowns.
Our leak repair services involve inspection of the leak by our field technicians who record pertinent information about the faulty part for determination of appropriate repair techniques.
Code Welding
We perform certified manual, semi-automatic and fully automated machine welding services in a variety of specialty industrial applications. All J & L welders are certified to applicable American Society of Mechanical Engineers (“ASME”) code and we are authorized by the NBBPVI for the repair boilers and other pressure containing components. The codes are qualifications relating to the different types of welding the technician has been tested and is qualified to perform. Different welding jobs in different industries require different coded welding applications each type has a very stringent procedure and quality assurance is currently in process.
Certified Welding
Certified welding is very similar to coded welding however the procedures and testing do not fall into the category of a coded system per the governing bodies and can include structural welding along with power piping.
Pipefitters layout, assemble, install and repair pipelines or pipe systems that carry water, steam, air or other liquids or gases for production and process systems. Pipe fitting, manufacturing and welding of Carbon, 1¼ , 2¼, Alloy 20 S/S, 316 S/S and 2205 duplex S/S. Pipe fitting can be described simply as a plumber in an Industrial environment.
Whether in house or in the field, our use of basic rotating equipment or major rotating and or reciprocating precision equipment. We provide equipment installation, repairs service and turnaround services. These are typically performed on pumps, compressors, turbines, gearboxes, etc.
Fabrication and installation of structural steel, platforms, hand rails and grating can be done on-site or prefabbed in J&L’s shop facility.
J&L also provides civil work such as concrete foundation’s, road work, pump pads, block laying, dirt work and asphalt.
